Prime Video’s ‘Fallout’ Gears Up For War In Explosive Season 2 Trailer

Prime Video’s Fallout video game series adaptation is raising the stakes for Season Two, as the show has received its second trailer, and this time, war is coming.

Premiering on Prime Video on 17 December, Season Two’s trailer offers another look at its rendition of New Vegas, a key location in the 2010 game Fallout: New Vegas, something that was teased throughout the season’s promotional material. Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell, Sweetpea) and the Ghoul (Walter Goggins, The White Lotus) are seen briefly at the entrance of the casino city, with the duo on the trail of the former’s villainous father, Hank (Kyle MacLachlan, Twin Peaks).

Picking up where Season One left off, Fallout’s second chapter will see Lucy and Ghoul teaming up as they venture across the post-apocalyptic wasteland, with the latter also on a mission to find his family, who seemingly perished after the initial nuclear bombs dropped, although a snippet featuring a flashback of Cooper Howard (The Ghoul’s name before the apocalypse) and his daughter Janey might signal that her fate isn’t set in stone yet.

Additionally, the trailer also sets the stage for a massive battle to come, with an unseen character warning The Ghoul that he will need friends because “there’s a war coming”, backed by shots of what appears to be enemy blimps converging on the Brotherhood of Steel’s base, signalling some sort of civil war to come.

Series regulars Aaron Moten (Disjointed), Moisés Arias (Hannah Montana) and Frances Turner (The Boys) are also set to return as Maximus, Norm MacLean and Barb Howard, respectively, alongside new faces like Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals) as a high-ranking Brotherhood of Steel official and a first look at Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone), who is set to play a “genious-like character”.

Prime Video’s Fallout Season Two will return to the Wasteland when it hits the streamer on 17 December 2025.
