‘Silent Hill f’ Surpasses 1 Million Sold In 4 Days, Outpaces ‘Silent Hill 2’ Remake

Konami’s survival horror spin-off, Silent Hill f, is off to a great start, as the title has amassed over a million units in sales just four days after its launch on 25 September, and according to the company, has outperformed 2024’s Silent Hill 2 remake.

This comes from an official statement on the Konami website announcing the game’s achievement. While the performance of Silent Hill f might seem similar to the 2024 remake, with the latter also attaining a million copies sold in the same time period, as announced in a previous social media post by Konami, its latest statement describes that the new title has “exceeded” the one million sales milestone, and that the number of shipments for the game has “increased at a faster pace”, alluding that the game has outperformed its predecessor.

Silent Hill f’s improved performance over its predecessor shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering the game’s shift in setting to Japan and heavy cultural influences, which will certainly draw in new audiences from Asia. The game is also performing well critically, currently holding a “very positive” review score on storefronts like Steam, with 83% of its 3,207 user reviews being positive.

Silent Hill f is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
