MapleStorySEA is truly a beast that keeps on growing, as with the end off 2025 approaching, the massively popular MMORPG has one last surprise in store, with its next mega update, Assemble. Starting from 12 November, players will be able to experience not one, but two brand-new playable classes, alongside a new dungeon and boss, Season 2 of Challenger World, and various expansions to the game’s growth systems.
Talk about closing the year with a bang!

Things kick off on 12 November with the launch of the first new class, Len the Red-Eyed Wanderer, who hails from the continent of Grandis. On her travels, she rescues the imugi Saya, a mythological serpent, with the pair becoming inseparable companions until tragedy strikes at the hands of the High Flora, propelling Len on a journey of purpose and renewal.
Len boasts an easy to learn but challenging to master playstyle, making her suitable for beginners and veterans alike, and players can follow her journey via the Wanderer’s Journey progression event, unlocking growth rewards and character-teamed cosmetics along the way.

Launching alongside Len is Season 2 of Challenger World, which will run from 12 November 2025 to 21 April 2026, the next chapter in the high-growth server that brings quick level-up support and mid-to-long-term progression goals.
Season 2 will come packed with higher tiers, expanded missions, and additional powerful tier-specific buffs, alongside extended boss challenges till Carling, allowing MapleStorySEA players to test their mettle with the allure of even greater rewards than before, and marks the perfect long-term growth for both new and experienced players.

MapleStorySEA’s burning event is also set to return bigger than ever, with Hyper Burning Beyond, which will similarly last from 12 November 2025 to 21 April 2026. This event will accelerate player progression with a massive 1+4 level-up boost up to level 260, alongside a 1+1 boost thereafter until level 270, with availability even extending to the two upcoming classes. What’s more, with the Hyper Mushroom Pass, players can earn more rewards beyond level 260, and it comes jam-packed with level-matched milestone rewards all the way to level 280.
Combat is also set to receive a huge boost with the arrival of the new 6th Job Skill Core, Ascent Skills, which launches on 17 December. These Job cores combine the dynamic effects and illustrated flair unique to each class, and can be used up to 3 times without cooldown in boss battles, or activated in hunting fields with a 240-second cooldown, granting additional temporary invincibility on use to enhance MapleStorySEA’s combat experience with a whole new layer of skill expression and tactical depth.
Launching alongside it is a new dungeon, the Blood Moon Forest, a permanent roguelike area set in the mysterious Jianghu realm at Li-an Highlands. Maplers can tackle this ever-changing dungeon for the chance to earn and upgrade a brand-new addition to their gear set, Jewel Equipment, with the dungeon also setting the stage for MapleStorySEA’s future Jianghu-themed classes.

Leading into 2026, MapleStorySEA will kick off the year with a powerful new boss enemy, The First Adversary, which Maplers will be able to face starting from 8 January 2026. This figure from the past returns in the game’s Odium region to test players’ mettle, and defeating the mysterious foe will award the victor the Immortal Legacy Medal, a new end-game equipment piece featuring resettable additional options (Flames).

Ending of the Assemble update on a high note is the arrival of the game’s second new class, Mo Xuan, The First Jianghu Warrior, a pirate class character born from the legend of Wu Shen. Mo Xuan hails from the Xuanshan School and inherits the divine martial power of the God of Martial Arts, featuring a fluid, high-impact combat style inspired by Jianghu martial arts, combining Qi mastery and modern techniques. Much like Len, Mo Xuan will also be eligible to participate in MapleStorySEA’s upcoming growth events like Hyper Burning Beyond and Hyper Mushroom Pass.

With the Assemble update, MapleStorySEA is paving the way for another glorious year of MMORPG goodness with a much-welcomed boost to its already impressive arsenal of gameplay systems.
