Puma is bringing the need for speed from the circuits in Sonic Racing: Crossworlds to the real world. In celebration of the game’s release, the footwear brand and Sega have joined forces to launch a new Sonic the Hedgehog collection, featuring themed sneakers, apparel, and accessories.

The Blue Blur will be at the front and centre of the Puma Inhale lineup, bringing his signature colour finishes to the 2000s running silhouette. This time, the speedster is joined by Shadow and Tails, who are each given their own spin on the Puma Inverse range, with all three pairs of kicks sporting character-shaped lace shrouds, swappable “hook-and-loop” heel tabs, and replaceable Formstrips.

Meanwhile, the non-sneaker selection includes a matching set of a red-accented track jacket and track pants in a blackout palette, a washed-out graphic hoodie and shorts with gold-ring drawstring aglets, and the Racer Shirt with a monochrome Sonic graphic across the body, alongside a 5-panel cap and waist bag — both accompanied by ring-inspired zipper pulls and co-branded badges.

The limited-time Puma x Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration goes full throttle on 30 October, but there’s no word on worldwide availability. For those in Singapore, only the Inverse Shadow Sneakers are listed on the official website (S$209), and it’s unclear if the catalogue will update nearer to launch.

Additionally, players will also receive eight Puma-designed in-game decals that can be used to customise their vehicles in Sonic Racing: Crossworlds for free. The kart-racing title is the latest instalment in the spin-off series, with the final roster set to exceed 50 playable characters — the largest in the franchise to date.

Sony PlayStation has teamed up with footwear brand Reebok for a collaborative collection of exclusive sneakers due out in mid-October 2025.

The collection will pay homage to the original 1994 PlayStation console and come in three distinct region-exclusive silhouettes: The United States-exclusive Pump Omni Zone II, the Workout Plus for the United Kingdom, and the Instapump Fury 94 for Japan. All three variations will feature a grey colour palette reminiscent of Sony’s original gaming console, complete with the classic PlayStation logo prominently displayed.

In addition, each region’s design will also feature its corresponding PlayStation launch date within the interior of the shoe – 9 September 1995 for the U.S., 29 September 1995 for the U.K., and 3 December 1994 for Japan.

Each design also comes with unique elements, such as the Workout Plus’ dual lace options and removable lacelock cable, the custom PlayStation-themed pump ball of the Pump Omni Zone II, and the Instapump Fury 94’s distinctive “Press Play” design on its pump ball. Those who wish to purchase all three designs can also snag the PlayStation | Reebox 30th Anniversary Collection Stacking Box, which feature the trio of sneakers in a single bundle.

The PlayStation x Reebok Workout Plus will be available starting on 15 October 2025 exclusively on the END. store, the Pump Omni Zone II will be available from 17 October on CNCPTS, and the Instapump Fury 94 will launch exclusively on Beams from 24 October, with details on individual prices alongside a planned in-store launch event coming soon.

The world of Animal Crossing is stepping into footwear, and it will get a bright pop of colour. Nintendo has announced its first-ever Animal Crossing collaboration with Crocs, featuring designs inspired by its “lush, natural setting” and charms modelled after elements from the game.

Available in both kids’ and adult sizes, the clogs blend green hues representing the land, with the blues on the sole and strap, serving as a nod to the sea. The collection is launching on 26 August at Crocs online and in retail stores, alongside Jibbitz, or charms, based on characters like Tom Nook, K.K. Slider, and Isabelle, as well as a 3D house, money, and even an apple tree.

Additionally, three individual Jibbitz for Rosie, Marshal, and Bunnie are also included, with two other five-pack sets comprising different villagers: Mable, Sable, and Label, paired with a striped shirt and a backpack; and Blathers, Celeste, and Pascal, accompanied by a fossil and a scallop. The former retails for US$4.99 each, while the latter is priced at S$16.99.

As for the kicks, the Animal Crossing-themed Crocs (Animal Crocs-sing?) will set fans back by US$69.99 for adults, and US$54.99 for the little ones. Alongside the Samsung Galaxy S25 series reveal at the Samsung Unpacked January 2025 held in San Jose, California, Crocs has unveiled its first-ever foray into the phone case market. Starting with the Samsung S25 series of phones, a beige-coloured phone case sporting Crocs’ signature classic clogs design will be launched.

The case itself comes with 15 holes for users to customize with their favourite Jibbitz shoe charms from their existing Crocs footwear, as well as 4 more holes on the heel strap, which users can double up as a hand strap to hold their phones more securely.

The Crocs phone case will be released alongside the Galaxy S25 series and will retail for S$98 in Singapore and will be available for the S25 Ultra, S25+ and S25. There does not seem to be any other colours made available at launch but we’re pretty sure there’s plenty more to come in the near future.

In celebration of Casio’s 50th anniversary, the company has turned a once gacha capsule toy idea into an actual functioning Casio Ring Watch, set for release in Japan in December 2024. There is no mention of any release outside of Japan yet, so be sure to hunt for one of these when you head to Japan for your next vacation this holiday season!

Casio’s Ring Watch has a retro LCD screen that’s about an inch in size and includes the traditional three functional buttons for various features such as the watch face illumination, stopwatch, alarm, date and times in different time zones. It is powered by a single button battery which is expected to last up to two years and is easily replaceable. And don’t worry, much like every other Casio watch, it is also waterproof, but don’t expect any smart features from it.

The idea of the Casio Ring Watch first emerged in the form of a gacha capsule toy series in Japan in 2023 but it was non-functional other than aesthetics.

Although there is only one size (US 10.5) for the Ring Watch, it does come with two transparent spacers for wearers with smaller fingers. However, if your fingers are bigger than a US 10.5, then you’re out of luck. But it still makes for a fine addition to any watch geek’s collection.

The Casio Ring Watch CRW-001-1JR will be available in Japan in December 2024 and will retail for ¥19,800 (US$128 / S$170).

The Bleach manga covers are no stranger to decking its characters out in fashionable wear (or “drip”, as modern lingo would call it), so it’s only apt that the beloved series is celebrating its 20th anniversary with some sneaker flair. Japanese footwear brand Asics has joined forces with Tite Kubo’s anime classic to roll out a limited edition collaboration honouring two of its main characters, Ichigo Kurosaki and Renji Abarai.

Represented on the GT-2160, the former-themed kicks tout his signature palette of orange, black, and white. The spine of the heel is furnished with the Substitute Shinigami emblem, while the kanji spelling out his name can be found right next to it on the left-footed fit. On the inside is the Bleach branding, printed on the tongue.

Similarly, the Gel-NYC silhouette takes after Renji’s aesthetics. The red-and-black colourway is accompanied by a white sole and his name on the side of the left shoe, alongside the characters for the Sixth Division on the foxing. Both pairs of sneakers will be released in special packaging and men’s sizing, with prices ranging from US$145 to US$165.

The ASICS X Bleach collection launches sometime this holiday season, and can be purchased via Foot Locker and Champs Sports online and in-store. There’s no word on whether it will eventually be available outside of the U.S., but it’s set to debut at New York Comic Con, running from 17 to 20 October. It’s unclear if attendees will be able to buy the sneakers then, however.

This collaboration comes as Part 3 of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, subtitled The Conflict, kicked off on 5 October. The anime’s first season premiered in October 2022, marking a welcome return after a ten-year hiatus and exciting fans with a brand-new, visually arresting art style. It adapts the final arc of the manga, which spans volumes 55 to 74, and will wrap up with four non-consecutive cours (quarters of a year).

Other 20th anniversary projects include a celebratory video that revisits iconic scenes from the original anime in the stylish, modern style the revival series is known for, and the forthcoming Bleach: Rebirth of Souls fighting game, due out in 2025.

The ASICS X Bleach collection will hit the streets when Holiday 2024 rolls around.

In celebration of the theatrical release of Deadpool & Wolverine across the globe this week, adidas Originals revealed its first Deadpool-inspired collection. The collection consists of two themed Rivalry Low shoes, an adizero Electric cleat, graphic tees and an adidas Originals silhouette worn in the film.

The collection carries distinct detailing of Deadpool and Wolverine’s iconic characters, including tongue-and-cheek jokes on sock liners, censored language characters, and storage pouches on the Deadpool-inspired Rivalry Low and adizero Electric cleat—nodding to the seemingly excessive amount of pouches the ‘Merc with a Mouth’ keeps on his costume. The Wolverine-inspired Rivalry Low includes colour blocking as homage to the classic yellow Wolverine Super Hero suit, which finally makes its in-film debut.

The key highlight with this year’s collaboration is the limited run Owndays Zaku Head Case, an eyewear case modelled after Char’s custom MS-06S Zaku II. It features a magnetic detachable blade antenna (a symbol of the commander rank) and a light-up monoeye with activation sound effect. There are only 2,500 Zaku Head Cases available worldwide of which only 180 will be sold in Singapore, priced at S$498. The rest of the units will be sold via Owndays in Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Phillippines, Malaysia, Cambodia and United Arab Emirates.

Accompanying the Head Case are two pairs of Zeon spectacles (red and khaki), priced at S$198 each, and two pairs of Zeon sunglasses (red and khaki), priced at S$78 each.
